This webinar will demonstrate the use of finite element (FE) and limit equilibrium (LE) analysis simulations to model slope stability, seepage, ground deformations and consolidation in soft ground and compare with closed-form solutions. A number of examples will be shown to simulate different aspects of slope stability, pore pressures, unsaturated soil behaviour and general finite element analysis in geotechnics.
The following subjects will be covered in the 2D environment of SoilWorks:

• FE analysis for unconfined flow in a dam
• FE analysis of soft rigid footing on an elastic soil
