Описание: Post-match press conference with Nottingham Forest manager Vítor Pereira after his side’s 2-1 defeat to Fenerbahçe at the City Ground in the UEFA Europa League Knockout Round Play-offs. Nottingham Forest still progressed to the last 16 with a 4-2 aggregate win.

Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored twice for Fenerbahçe, including a penalty, before Callum Hudson-Odoi pulled one back for Forest in the second half. Forest had already built a 3-0 first-leg lead, so the tie finished 4-2 on aggregate in their favour.

Pereira admits he took a risk by making major changes with Brighton in mind, says the side lost confidence after conceding early, and explains why he made four substitutions at half-time.

He praises Forest’s response after going 2-0 down, backs Ryan Yates’ spirit after his finger injury, and says the most important thing is that Forest are still in the competition while balancing energy ahead of the Premier League trip to Brighton.
