Описание: Aasia - A Quest for Justice, is a documentary film on a young Kashmiri Woman Civil Society Activist, who was born and bought-up in Shahr-e- Khas of Kashmir valley in the foot hills of Koh-e-Maran in J&K.

An innocent free spirit when born in an occupied land with sorrowful tales always feels restless and seeks answers to the many buried & forgotten questions.

By virtue of her utmost sincerity, selfless & tireless efforts, in the quest of her journey of Justice, Freedom and Peace, she made her friends, family and nation proud. On one of the fateful days of spring 2004 she achieved martyrdom while performing her noble duty for sake of her betrayed nation, as part of her broader concept of resistance. Her martyrdom kept the honour of her name Aasia, in past Hazrat Aasia also laid down her life for speaking & supporting truth in front of callous & tyrant Pharaoh.

Aasia has the privilege of being second woman editor in Kashmir Valley and first woman editor in English language. She edited a monthly Kashmiri women's magazine "Voices unheard". By leaving the temporal world at the prime of her age, she also left many painful but proud memories behind....
The story is not just a brief story of a young spirit but represents aspirations of hundreds and thousands of youth living in occupied J&K resisting day in and day out in various parts of Kashmir since 1947; youth who have been trying to bring a positive change and want to break the chains of indifference and wipe off the stains of slavery, suppression & subjugation from the face of our motherland - occupied J&K.
