Sports Director Rob DeMello is joined by longtime sports reporter Billy Hull as the two take a nostalgic trip through one of the most memorable years in Hawaiʻi sports.

The special edition looks back on the moments, performances, and personalities that defined the local sports landscape in 2025, while handing out “shakas” to the players, teams, and coaches who left a lasting mark. DeMello and Hull debate and discuss the Hawaiʻi Sports Milestone of the Year, Coach of the Year, Game of the Year, and Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Among those highlighted throughout the episode are University of Hawaiʻi placekicker Kansei Matsuzawa, quarterback Micah Alejado, Rainbow Warriors head coach Timmy Chang, and NFL quarterbacks Marcus Mariota and Tua Tagovailoa.

The episode also spotlights standout seasons from college stars Dillon Gabriel, Wehiwa Aloy, and Aiva Arquette, along with prep and collegiate standouts like Lily Wahinekapu and championship-winning head coach Darren Johnson.
