Apart from the rare recordings of stalwarts, like Miss Dulari and Miss Indubala, and lesser known musicians, this video also takes you through the speech of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in the Constituent Assembly of India, released on gramophone records.

This film also underlines the marvellous contribution of musicians in the long fought struggle of independence.

All the gramophone records used in this film are from the aural stocks of Akhilesh Jha and Rashmita Jha.
