Welcome back to another video! In this one, I showcase the new Study Hall Maeve skin, which is the recolor of the Schoolyard Maeve skin in the Abyss Hunter Academy event pass! This skin is well made and fits the anime schoolgirl theme well, while also having abyssal touches to distinguish that it's from the Abyss Hunter Academy! This skin also has some amazing visual and sound effects on her abilities which are a pleasure to use.

However, the voice back for this skin is where things go sour, quickly. Maeve sounds like a whiny, obnoxious, nerdy little brat, and her voice pack gets on the nerves of almost everyone who witnesses it. Combined with certain details like her less than pretty hairstyle with randomly placed hair clips and her cheap dollar-store cat ears headband, she just strikes me as the type of annoying character that I don't want to be around.

This skin lacks the style and charm of many of her other skins, such as Cammie or Street Style. However, it is still an objectively well-made skin in terms of the visual and sound design. It achieves the goal of turning Maeve into an obnoxious schoolyard bully very well! A bit too well, actually, because of how off putting it ends up being. Not to mention, it's another Maeve skin. Pip, Atlas, and Moji players are all crying in the corner, not to mention the other dozen or so characters who lack any recent skins.
