Описание: FROM MY PERSONAL VHS TAPE ARCHIVE: On Monday April 13, 1992 at the Las Vegas Hilton's Convention Center, former President Ronald Reagan while giving an Award Acceptance Speech was attacked seemingly out-of-nowhere by a manic, whack-job, nut-case anti-nuke protester from California named Richard Springer. Springer violently smashed the President's glass award on the podium with a large shard barely missing Mr Reagan's left eye, miraculously not injuring him at all! Springer was immediately wrestled to the floor by Secret Service agents and taken away in custody. Shaken but not stirred, Mr Reagan took a few seconds to calm himself then went right back to the podium to pickup speaking where he left off. In classic Reagan style, he cracks a joking line or two about the bizarre incident. Great footage that makes a great statement about the courageous character of one of the greatest Presidents in US history!
