This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the best-preserved medieval fortresses in the world, standing as a symbol of Syria’s rich history and resilience.
Join me as I walk through ancient stone corridors, explore the castle’s breathtaking views, and share a look at life in modern Syria through my own eyes.
At the end of the vlog, I visit the nearby town of Al Hosn, where you’ll see visible traces of the Syrian civil war — a powerful reminder of the challenges the country has faced since 2011, and the strength of its people rebuilding their lives.
