Yemen’s Houthis Release Video Of Mountain Blasts Near Taiz

Описание: Yemen’s Houthi military has released footage purportedly showing powerful explosions and thick plumes of smoke rising from mountains near Taiz, where Houthi fighters are reportedly clashing with Saudi-backed government forces. The footage captures blasts in the mountainous region as fighting continues around the strategic city. Taiz has become a key battleground in Yemen’s renewed civil war, with Houthi forces reportedly encircling the city and cutting its main road south to Aden. The blockade has contributed to civilian displacement and worsening humanitarian conditions in the conflict-hit region. Reuters partially verified the location shown in the footage, but could not independently confirm when it was recorded. The fighting underscores continuing instability in Yemen as rival forces battle for territorial control.
