I love using stencils in my encaustic art, especially to create unique backgrounds. Using dry wall plaster, especially to add steampunk details, is always a win! Plus, there's something so interesting and modern about and encaustic cube.
In this video, I'm also using molded wax on the surface for the very first time. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, especially if you remember each step. :)
