This is the video about RBI Museum ---the heritage and knowledge center created by the Reserve Bank Of India.

It's located in 8, Council House St .Kolkata in the Indian state of West Bengal.

The Museum is next to the HSBC bank on the backside of the Lal Dighi from BBD Bag's Bus Terminus.

The Reserve Bank of India was founded on 1 April 1935 to respond to economic troubles after the First World War. The first Governor of the Reserve Bank of India was British banker, Osborn Smith, while Chintaman Dwarakanath Deshmukh was the first Indian Governor of Reserve Bank of India. This house is the first historic RBI office in India.


The Museum is open from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 5 pm.

One gold bar weighing 14.5 kg. There is a replica of a golden bar of equal weight. You can feel like lifting it.

Many go for walks with their children. There is a separate room for the kids to enjoy. They will be very happy when they come.
