Lithuania has premiered its brand new national selection competition for the Eurovision Song Contest.
Eurovizija.LT follows a similar format to the previous selection contest (Pabandom iš naujo), even if with different graphics and segments. The show was recorded on 9 January.
The first heat took place and culminated with the qualification of two acts for the Final. After all the votes were counted, Silvester Belt with "Luktelk," and VB gang with "Kaboom!!!" were the chosen ones to go through. The decision was split by the public and the jury, each worth 50%.
The judging panel featured Monika Liu (Lithuania 2022), singer Ieva Narkutė, music producer Vytautas Bikus, LRT's music editor Ramūnas Zilnys, and musician Darius Užkuraitis.
