Описание: In this webinar Dr. Pierre Kory will review of the need for prompt diagnosis of lower extremity thromboembolic disease in the Acute Care environment (incidence/prevalence) with detailed explanation of the proximal femoral, venous anatomy; popliteal vein and the technique for performing the ultrasound examination.

Additionally, Dr. Kory will review evidence supporting the accuracy of incorporating the compression technique vs. ultrasound technologies; review evidence supporting accuracy of focused trained ICU and ED physicians to perform the ultrasound examination.
