BUFT Honorable Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni speech in the 1st convocation program

BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology’s (BUFT) 1st convocation ceremony held at Bashundhara International Conference Center (ICCB) in Dhaka – where more than 5000 students have been awarded graduation and post-graduation certificates. Of them, 53 students have been awarded gold medals.

More than 5000 students have been awarded graduation and post-graduation certificates in BUFT 1st convocation ceremony.

Distinguished guests highlighted that since its inception in 2012, BUFT has been dedicated to developing human resources for the readymade garments, textiles and allied sectors of Bangladesh. The university aims to establish itself as a ‘center of excellence’ for study, research and development and to serve the nation.

As the Chief Guest, Dr. Dipu Moni, Education Minister said, “BUFT has been playing a pioneering role in fulfilling future challenges through research and development (R&D) and training activities along with topnotch teaching to meet the challenges of the 21st century and achieve the goals of 2041.
