We rented a car and headed from Salzburg to Hallstatt. Hallstatt is located south of Salzburg (about 1- 2 hour drive depending on how fast you drive, how many stops and how carsick you get;)

We got there around 15 (3 pm) and the sun wasn't on the town anymore.. so if you want the perfect lighting.. get there in the morning and noon:) It's stil a super idyllic town.. no cars, just the water, houses and lots of steps if you venture away from the one water level street.

The town square is absolutely beautiful and I get why people have been coming here for ages. Hallstatt has a special charm.. I think the buildings and car free'ness is what makes it special. I'm telling you we should start building car free cities again.. so much more pleasant:)

I found the Bone chapel and I have never been to one so really wanted to experience it my self.. it was a bit creepy but also kind of beautiful.. I felt weird filming in there, but really wanted to show you guys. hope you like it.
