Some Information on ATO:
This is probably the only station to my level of knowledge that the S Stock Units run ATO at its full capacity on both platforms, as some stations, at one platform trains would blast in or out at speed, while the opposite arrives or departs at a slower rate. So, maybe at much nicer weather do visit this great station!

Also, based on my personal observations, the Circle and H&C are the only Cut & Cover Lines (Sub-Surface lines) that are fully automated, as I notice the white lights appearing in all stations that I’ve filmed or been at recently. As for the Disrrict and Metropolitan lines, since these are the much busier and bigger lines with longer distances and more stations to cover, they are still progressing with the ATO.

Furthermore, I noticed that stations after Earl’s Court do not showcase the white lights before departure at least not on the Ealing and Richmond branches, so I assume those parts of the District line is currently manually driven! I’ll have to watch back some videos on the Wimbledon branch to double check for those stations as I can’t recall on that.

As for the Metropolitan line, interestingly I was told by a friend that the computerised section of the line actually runs from Aldgate to Finchley Road and the rest is manual, as my initial thoughts was ATO ran until Wembley Park. Nevertheless, good to know drivers still have full control over the express route! ;)
