Описание: Here is a semi short video of a few clips of women's football, from 1967-1968 and 1969.

Throughout Europe in the late 1960's, women's football was just getting started. Most of the footballs (approximately 85-90% of the time) they used was rubber. The other 10-15% approximately, they used leather stitched balls.
The pitch they played on, was not always well maintained, either.

Getting back to the footballs (soccer balls) they used, that were rubber. This was not necessarily a bad thing. Throughout Europe, rubber soccer balls made in the mid-late 1960s were not children balls. No!
These were made of premium polyurethane rubber (essentially a soft leather-like rubber) and most, if not all, had latex bladders in them. Polyurethane rubber was outstanding for performance, but was not very durable. Combined with a latex bladder, you had a ball that was very responsive, for more control, and easy to boot. Many football clubs had them on hand for training and when the pitch was going to be muddy.
Today, these old rubber footballs are extremely hard to find, especially those that had been used in football club matches during this era. Many are still around today, they are just out of sight and out of mind to most that still have them. Goodness, I hope they don't throw them away!!!
I would pay an insane amount, to anyone out there who can find one or more that had been used in football matches in the late 1960s, 1970s.
I could care less if the ball no longer holds air or is severely & badly worn from decades of being used in games. In fact, this is how I would like to acquire them.
If you think I get many replies regarding anything about these old footballs, I unfortunately do not.
