Grimes County, TX — June 14, 2024: According to authorities, 49-year-old Monica Salgado and a 34-year-old man were injured just before 10:00 a.m. in a northbound collision on State Highway 6 north of Business State Highway 6. Officials reported that a Honda CR-V allegedly failed to control its speed and struck the rear of Salgado’s Jeep Wrangler. Both drivers sustained serious injuries and were transported to local medical facilities. Additional information has not yet been released. The incident remains under investigation.
