They’re not speakers, They’re a grill for the fans in each seat that move the air for the air condioned cooling and heating of the seats.
You won’t be aware but there are also fans in the seat bottoms as well.
This video will show you how to replace the filters used by these fans in the 2013 XK/XKR and well as XF, XE, F-Pace, I-Pace and Land/Range Rover models that have cooled and heated front seats.
In case you didn’t know and to give you some bragging rights with your Mercedes friends. The ventilation system in the Jags is a true cooling system using the A/C air as opposed to the Mercedes system that is just an airflow with no cooling from the A/C.
