After getting an absolutely lovely response to the Procreate watercolor floral monogram tutorial, I was so excited to have some requests for more videos utilizing the Uproot watercolor brushes! I love these brushes (and am perhaps Abbie's #1 fangirl ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ) and will take any excuse to paint with them! Because the shapes we're painting here are relatively simple, this tutorial is surprisingly easy and accessible for beginners - I promise, the brushes do a lot of the work for you!

I used a whole mix of brushes from the set to paint this watercolor mountain vignette landscape scene (haha, yes, that's what I'm calling it). I tried my best to break it into steps so that you can pause, or rewind, and just generally more easily follow along.

(1:03) - Circle base & sky watercolor wash
(3:41) - Painting the mountains
(5:13) - Adding shade & definition to the mountains

It was harder to put on, and it scratches easier, and I've also heard it wears out your pencil nib faster. But I'm really, really digging the paper finish so I'm down with the trade offs.)

++ I use this gimbal to get my B-roll slow motion shots, which I film entirely by myself. Some I hold the gimbal for, and others, I set it nearby and use the app to control the joystick. I'll even put it on a stool and slide the stool to get a nice glide shot sometimes!
