Biking around City Island, Harrisburg, PA | September 27, 2025

Описание: My first visit to City Island was part of a longer Ebike ride with friends on the Capital Area Greenbelt which encircles Harrisburg, PA. City Island connects to the trail via the Walnut Street Bridge.

This mile-long island in the Susquehanna River has a lot of leisure activities packed within it. Its centerpiece is FNB Field - home of Double-A baseball's Harrisburg Senators. It also has a sports complex, mini-golf course, concrete beach, bath house, playground, carousel, arcade, miniature railroad, and several food vendors. The City Island Railroad circles the island, and that will be featured in my next video. It's a 2-foot narrow-gauge railway with a diesel-powered trolley.
