RARE VISIT: American Eagle E175 at Champaign Willard Airport

Описание: American Eagle operates multiple flights a day to Champaign, with services to Chicago, Charlotte, and Dallas. All of these flights are operated on the Embraer ERJ-140 or 145 aircraft. However a few weeks ago, the Dallas flight was cancelled due to bad weather, which prompted the next day's flight to be upgraded to an E175 in order to accommodate extra passengers. The day after that, the DFW flight was an E175 again (which I don't know why) but it was still really cool to see.

Sadly I missed the arrival of both flights, but I was able to catch both of them the next morning. The first day (Saturday), I caught N252NN taking off from the convenience of my own home. The clouds were low that day, which didn't make for the best shot but still a decent video. The next day (Sunday) I made a quick trip to the airport to get some shots of N249NN before it departed. Sadly I couldn't film the departure since I had to get to work, but I was still satisfied with the footage.

American Eagle/Envoy Air used to operate daily E175's to Champaign back in January/February 2018 from Chicago. That was sadly short-lived since it soon switched back to the E175. Since then, the E175 has made two or three more visits on flights from DFW. These two visits were the first times an E175 visited Champaign after well over a year so I was quite excited to have seen these.
