Group Product Manager, Brian Benes, provides an inside look at the newest Dremel tool, the Model 8300 cordless Dremel Multi-Max and explains inspiration leading to its development.
It features all the same elements that is found in the corded Multi-Max. The ability to cut, sand, scrape, grind, remove grout and much more and adds one more element: the ability to do it without being tied to a power source.
The cordless Multi-Max uses the Dremel's 12 Volt Max Lithium Ion battery which is also found in our 8200 cordless rotary tool. Some of the additionally features found in the cordless Multi-Max include a variable speed slide switch on the side of the tool. It also has a convenient battery tool range that let's users know how much life is remaining in their battery so they can switch batteries before they die out. The Multi-Max has a comfortable grip over extended periods. It also has the ability to use Dremel's quick face interface and is compatible with all Dremel accessories and attachments that are in the market.
