Sometimes it is fun to simply explore one's own back yard. Do you know what I mean? There are so many fun and historic places to visit in Virginia and since we are local to Richmond (RVA) we decided to get our cabin-fevered booties out to explore.
We already knew we loved the Canal Walk area as we have walked many parts of the trails and have explored other parts of this downtown area. We have walked across Brown's Island and started over this bridge however we had not crossed it before.It is such a lovely view of the James River while acknowledging the different sides of this city's history.
We hope you are enjoying the fun, explored and especially the unexplored areas in your own back yard!
