I shot with a $300 Camera… and I was shocked by the result !

Описание: In this tutorial, I decided to respond directly to a comment I hear surprisingly often:
“Of course it’s easy to take great photographs when you have the best equipment.”

So I thought — let’s put that theory to the test.

Instead of using my usual Canon R5 Mark II, I picked up a second-hand Canon M50 (released back in 2020) for just £300, paired with the basic kit lens — the EF-M 15–45mm f/3.5–6.3, which cost only £40.

And honestly… I was astonished by the results.

To really challenge the setup, I shot a handheld panorama while travelling light, without a tripod, capturing five frames at ISO 800 in one of the most atmospheric locations in Europe: Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania.

The final image is taken in the old Jewish quarter of Vilnius Old Town — a place filled with medieval architecture dating back to the 1350s, narrow historic streets, and a quiet, timeless beauty.

It was also bitterly cold that evening — around –20°C (–4°F) — so the city was almost empty, giving the perfect opportunity to photograph without crowds.

-In the video, I take you through the complete workflow:
-Building a detailed panorama from five handheld images
-Managing noise with Lightroom’s AI Denoise
-Refining the scene in Photoshop using the Remove Tool and Generative Fill
-Performing a seamless sky replacement
-And bringing the final image to life with careful tone and colour balancing

This tutorial is really about proving something important:
Great photography is far more about vision, technique, and storytelling than the price of the camera.

Whether you’re shooting with flagship gear or an older entry-level body, there is still huge creative potential — and this tutorial shows exactly how far you can take it.
