New Poles 2023: Many years in the making!
The Aero Competition pole range has been many years in the making. Employing a dynamic development program conducted without compromise, the design team has maximised the use of Shimano’s leading carbon engineers. The result is a new advanced taper mandrel and a combination of high specification Japanese carbon to maximise functionality throughout the range. This has been supported by hours and hours of secret testing and trials throughout Europe, in the never-ending pursuit of perfection. At the heart of the three Shimano Aero Competition pole ranges is the new advanced taper mandrel. This has been developed to maximise performance at the longest 16 metre length without sacrificing shorter length performance for competition use. Within the range all top kits and large sections are fully interchangeable for maximum versatility and customisation if required. All stated lengths are true and accurate, ensuring compliance with FIPSed international rule restrictions.
