In 1876 the green city park was laid out on top of the dilapidated city walls. Picturesque ponds, rustic bridges, a beautiful kiosk and hiking trails bring visitors to rest today, a stone's throw from the historic city center.
Follow the beautiful 4 km walk along the city ramparts, built in the 11th century by Adelardus II and dismantled by Louis XIV in 1675.
