My last day overlanding and camping West Texas. It doesn’t get more remote than the backcountry of Big Bend National Park where you can drive for days without seeing another human. I set out on River Road along the U.S.-Mexico border to reach the old Mariscal Mine, an old quicksilver mine that was abandoned in 1943.
