John Newsinger: The Bloody History of the British Empire

John is a long-standing member of the SWP and an emeritus professor of history at the University of Bath. He is the author of many books, including The Blood Never Dried: A People's History of the British Empire, Orwell's politics, British Counterinsurgency and 1917: Russia's Red Year.
