Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery - Radical Hill Rolled Jeep

Описание: On Thursday August 31st, 2017 a highly trained all Volunteer 100% NON-PAID Team from Colorado 4x4 Rescue and Recovery headed up Radical Hill trail just south of Montezuma, Colorado to recover a Rolled Jeep JK off the side of the mountain.

The jeep rolled 538 linear feet (verified by GPS coordinates and on google earth). The driver has one HELLUVA story posted on his personal facebook page at:   / ccie25819  

The team from CO4X4RNR was above tree line for over 10 hours yesterday working on extracting this vehicle from the trail. it took every bit of ingenuity we could dream up to get that thing rolling on its own wheels. We even had donated take-off parts from Bullhide 4x4 in Fort Collins CO (controls arms etc). We had 4 tires holding air and back on the beads until one of our plugs blew out half way down... so we took that now front flat tire and transferred it to the back so we could continue to steer the wrecked jeep down the trail.

amazingly enough the steering was intact and operational!!!

I left my house at 0500 hours and returned 18 hours later at 2300! walked right into my house, took a shower and crashed!
