Hashi is an experimental high throughput cartridge for Atari 8 bit. It uses EPM3064 & ATxmega192D3 + SD card.
Player for Atari decides which sub stream is going to be played next. I have converted mine physical DVD to HAI format. Thanks to FAT32 this 0.5GB file contains over than 300 streams, which are gapless glued during playback. All game logic was written from scratch for Atari in MADS.
Video: 352x239 (gr8, without end line artifacts) 50 FPS, timed directly into Antic.
Audio: 31khz mono 8 bit PDM audio timed to 6502 which writes to POKEY (Thanks to kool kitty89 from Atari Age)
This sums to over 0.5MB throughput. HAI format supports RIFF like metadata with Atari video settings and index.

Stock Atari 130 XE with Hashi prototype via composite to TX-14S3TP, cellphone recorded.
