Achilles Heel Deep Tendon Reflex Test | Nursing Head to Toe Assessment

Описание: Achilles heel reflex test for the nursing head-to-toe assessment that includes the deep tendon reflex examination of the achilles tendon (L5 to S2) with a reflex hammer. This nursing skills video will show you how to properly elicit a response in the achilles tendon by finding the tendon above the heel of the foot. This is best done by dorsiflexing the foot which will cause the achilles tendon to become more pronounce. An expected response of the achilles reflex examination is plantarflexion of the foot.
