Massive protest erupted today in Thane over the sexual assault of two four-year-old girls at a school, which saw a 'rail roko' for several hours at the Badlapur train station.

The 2 young children were allegedly sexually assaulted in the school washroom by a cleaner who has been arrested, but what enraged the protesters is the claim that the girls' parents were made to wait 11 hours at a local police station for an FIR and a muted response from the school.
