Witness Video Shows Frantic Scene Near Orlando Nightclub Shooting

Описание: Exclusive video obtained by China Central Television (CCTV) captured the frantic scene of police vehicles rushing from different directions towards the Orlando, Florida nightclub where a mass shooting occurred early Sunday.

Mark Whitley, a witness who was driving past the club at the time recalled what he saw and heard.

"I was driving home from a friend's place, and on my way I saw a whole bunch of police cars, so I pulled over. As I did that, I saw a lot of people across the street running, fleeing, I did not know from what. So I shouted across the street and asked what had happened. One guy said that there was a shooting at one of the clubs. I drove across the street real quick to the parking lot, and I asked, 'Are you serious? There was a shooting?' He said, 'Yes, I work there. It just happened.' As I was sitting in the parking lot, a whole bunch of people were running past by my car, and I did hear a few gunshots go off. There were police cars everywhere, from every direction they were coming in. I lost count of how many police cars there were," said Whitley.

He added that the shooting happened at around 02:15 to 02:20.

At least 50 people were killed, and 53 others wounded in the shooting attack at the nightclub, making it the deadliest terror attack in U.S. history since the Sept. 11 terror attacks in 2001.
