Back when the gang had their own youtube channel, I was having difficulty making the handheld look work in storyboards. So, using Adobe AE, I decided to build the asylum and pop my character poses in to the environment to try to bring it to life. This was the first time I had ever used AE to do more than a slight truck in or panning shot, and I basically made a giant headache for myself as I had no real understanding of how AE works. It's far too labour intensive to actually make storyboarding like this a part of an actual production, never the less I think it was a pretty successful proof of concept.
