My YouTube Scriptwriting agency "Playwrite" lasted 3 months.
We had a long client waitlist, fantastic writers, and the proverbial "world at our feet"...
So let's talk about why I decided to close it.
And, more importantly, the critical lessons I knew (but chose to ignore) when launching a project that was probably always doomed to fail.

(Context on the "$15k p/m" stat. This was the total top-line revenue we were due to take in March. I'm using this figure for a catchy title, but it should be noted that the agency did not consistently turn over $15k. Neither did I personally make this amount per month, due to paying writers + agency partners. Just saying... don't be hoodwinked by big numbers on YouTube videos because the reality is often vastly different.)
