Inverted pike presses are a great way to strengthen the shoulders and triceps while working on mobility and flexibility in the lower body. Beginners will want to master these on the floor before moving up.
Hot tip: make sure to really press at the top of the movement and come through your arms with your ears. You'll need some upper back mobility for this.
To perform: come into a downward dog position with your feet wide. Drive the elbows back as you bend them and bring your head toward the floor. Press back up to the top of the movement by shrugging your shoulders and straightening your arms.
Perform for 10 repetitions before elevating the feet.
