and Welcome to a Taro Leaves / Colocasia Leaves Special Episode of ‪@RedSoilStories‬

One of our subscribers has gifted us a cute little cat called "Chiku", Pooja was playing with him and Introducing him to Raja, Raja was not interested in being friendly with Chiku. After some time Pooja went to get some Taro leaves and Colocasia Leaves. She returned home and started preparing the breakfast, for breakfast she decided to prepare Taro leaves pancakes ( अळूचं थालीपीठ ). It is non traditional yet a flavorful delicacy which is a flat, crispy, pan fried dish. We had it for our breakfast, Raja and Mowgli also liked it. Chiku couldn't eat it because he is still a baby and cannot eat everything.
After the breakfast I went to the farm and Pooja started preparing the lunch menu from colocasia leaves. A famous traditional Maharashtrian dish called Colocasia leaves gravy ( Alu cha Fatfata ) ( अळूचं फदफदं ). It can be made with various ways according to the geographical region, this one in our episode is Malvani version of Alu ch fadfada recipe.
Chiku's playing time was not stopping, still we had our lunch and enjoyed this Traditional recipe with Bhakri.
