I take a four hour round trip journey to Zhujiajiao
I spend a lot of time on the metro to get to the Venice of Shanghai. It is a cold day in China and I warm up with a milk tea. I get bamboozled into buying some tea and then enjoy a meal. Some candied fruit and a walkabout and it's over. This is usually listed as a must visit place in the Shanghai region and stay tuned to the end for my thoughts. If you're visiting Shanghai in 2025, this could make your decision to visit this water town.
