To transfer money from your M&T account to another bank, simply follow the following steps:
• Log in to online banking for M&T.
• Go to bank-to-bank transfers under the payments and transfer menu.
• You'll then need to link verified accounts to transfer money.
• Select the accounts you want to transfer money from, the amount to be transferred, and the transfer date.
• Collect the recipient's bank account number and address, along with the name and routing number for their bank, and you're good to go.

What are the limits for bank-to-bank transfers?
For inbound and outbound transfers, the combined limit is $2,000 for a day and $5,000 within any 30 consecutive days.

Can you schedule recurring bank-to-bank transfers?
You cannot schedule recurring bank-to-bank transfers online; you'll need to visit M&T and do this individually.

When can you expect your bank transfer to be processed?
After M&T has received the transfer instructions, the bank-to-bank transfer will be processed within the next 3 business days.
