I’m starting a YouTube channel in secret.
No announcements. No telling friends or family. Just an experiment to see if I can make it work.
I live on Åland, a small island in Finland, right by the sea — with Sweden on the horizon.
On a freezing winter day, I went down to the shore to talk about this quiet challenge I’ve set for myself.
But something unexpected caught my attention.
The bay had frozen over, and a group of swans had taken shelter in the ice. For a moment, I was afraid one of them might be stuck.
This video is about starting something new later in life, staying curious, and paying attention to the small — and sometimes dramatic — moments that appear along the way.
