After 8 years on WCBS-FM New York, Scott Shannon announces his retirement from the station. Scott Shannon started the New York phase of his career in August 1983 on Z100 WHTZ Newark. He also spent over 20 years hosting the morning show at WPLJ from 1991 until 2014.
