Climb out of Kenmore on the edge of Loch Tay to Glen Quaich. Tough start with the first mile averaging 12% then a small section of respite before it kicks up again for another mile. Eventually the road opens out to amazing views and a much more pleasant 5% stretch for the 3rd mile before the last flat/rolling section to the peak of the hill.
Well worth a visit if you enjoy climbing. One of the hardest climbs I have ridden so far in Scotland, not helped by my lowest gearing on the day being 36 x 25. Thankfully I had only ridden a fairly gentle 18 miles to get to the climb as I don't think I would of made it to the top if I wasn't feeling fresh.
