The cave activity was planned after map reviews and the examination of past activity reports carried out in the cave, and preparations were made accordingly. The team entering the cave includes experienced mountaineers and rock climbers. Before entering the cave, coveralls and gloves were worn, and after final checks were completed, a 4-meter vertical descent was made to pass into the small chamber, and a station was established for the 4-meter descent to the entrance chamber.

For the transition to the second chamber, while female teammates passed through the narrow passage, which is one of the two routes, the other teammates were lowered with single-rope safety.

The cave floor was slippery and partially wet, and it was followed downward with a 30-degree slope. At two points, safety was taken with the help of perlon and rope, and the cave lake was reached.

The cave splits into two branches from the second chamber. First, the right branch was followed up to the cave lake. On the return, the left branch was completely explored as lower and upper levels.

The cave is humid and the temperature is around 23 degrees. The activity, carried out without damaging the cave ecosystem, was successfully completed in 3 hours. This cave is one of the few caves in Turkey in terms of the amount and variety of cave formations called “Speleothem”. In addition to curtain-type formations reaching up to 3 meters in some places, rod-shaped stalactites, which are quite rare, are seen in many parts of this cave, providing a magnificent visual.

It is documented in records that the cave was used as a shelter during the Byzantine Period.
