Lesbos is the third largest Greek island 🇬🇷 and the eight largest in the Mediterranean. It is situated just a few kilometres away from the Turkish coast. In the heart of the island, there's a vast bay with a town of Skala Kallonis situated on its shore. The region is known for its saltpans. These wet grounds attract exotic bird species like greater flamingos 🦩 It's very easy to spot them in this area. Beautiful place with beautiful animals! In Europe the greater flamingo can be only seen in the Mediterrean countries in southern part of the continent. Enjoy the video!
