If you are going to travel to Taiwan in winter, I recommend you to go to Yangmingshan. Its located up in the mountain. In there also have (lots of) hot spring, ramen place, (lots of) garden. In there you can go see a lot of beautiful flowers while having your dims/tea in the garden. You can also hear water flowing, wind and bird chirping. Pretty much all about nature which I really love :)
Be sure to wear long pants and winter jacket as it is really cold in there. If you go even upper, you can see the snow!
