It is important to know, that Mblue Labs, in collaboration with the University of Maryland, holds a patent for the topical application of methylene blue in human skin health, specifically for anti-aging purposes. Optimal concentration is important for optimal results and more is not better.
Also, Dr Cao stresses that MB should not be used at the same time as Retinols, as they have opposing actions and basically cancel each other out.
You can cycle, using products containing MB for a bit, while taking a break from your Retinol, and vice versa.
