This is one for the History Books, Spur of the moment. Hard to write a description for this, so much covered. Harold is 91, and still lives and breaths drag racing. He raced the Drag Hag, the name of his many race cars. We cover his history, from him starting to race Fords from the beginning, racing for Paul Harvey, with his team partner Hubert Platt, in 1967. Talk about FEs, Tunnel Ports specifically. His switch to Mopar running an Original Hemi Barracuda. The issues with them, but how nice Chrysler was to him. His Drag Racing records, running 175 mph with his 73 Boss 429 powered Mercury Capri, when the fast guys including Grumpy Jenkins were only running 155mph. How NHRA outlawed the car for having a hand brake. It needed a hand brake, as the master cylinder had to be moved to fit the Boss 429 in. Also his 1978 Mustang II.
