South Hams Beach Bouldering!
A little bonus from a trip to Devon. It's quite scenic down there....

Terrine 6B (6C?)
Only one star but one of the best problems here - a distinctive overhang with an enticing sloper rail and some proper board-style moves. A bit of a battle in the heat and a limited time window, but worth it!

Babe 6C
A slight consolation prize after trying the 7A lip traverse, breaking a heel hook off (you can see my foot brush the debris off), scraping all down my arm, bashing my knee, and having a strop. Oh and discovering the 6C+ prow was a 7A+ sandbag. But this was still good fun, making good use of a nice hold in the prow.

Birdshit Slab 6A
No birdshit in sight - pretty immaculate in fact. Another consolation prize after slogging along sea-weed covered ridges and trenches of smooth schist to discover that most of the bouldering here has fallen down and been swept out to sea....

Torcross Torque 6B+ (6C?)
(Not Torcross Toss, ooops!) No stars but the line of block despite it's brevity - an aesthetic and fierce throw off a terrible foothold (you can see me trying to stare it into submission before starting). A superior South Hams version of Burbage South's "Tiger" ;)

Beesands Exit - Torcross 6C
A fun link-up on good, shapely holds, powerful, but easier than TT because this time you get some decent footholds!
