Journey - Don't Stop Believin' - Live In Houston '81 (Guitar Cover)

Описание: I've been doing a few obscure songs lately, and want to do more, so I thought best to get a more popular one done in between. Been rewatching some Sopranos so I think that made me choose to do this classic Journey track, but I thought I'd do this live version as there's probably a lot of covers of the original already. I also thought it'd be good to do this version to copy more of how Neal would play it live. I love how he plays the G# and A power chords in the main progression, something I kinda came across before when I did 'Why Can't This Night Go On Forever.' Also, I try and copy his foot volume swell for the fast lick at the start, and also tried to copy his fingerings which made it quite a lot harder than how I initially played it. Certainly fun though! Anyway, great track and Steve is absolutely flawless on this live.

I use a Jackson DK2 Dinky from 2004 (I removed the tone pot and moved the volume over) into a Boss Me50 (where I get my tone) into a Palmer Pdi-09 (which simulated a mic'd up cab) into a Focusrite Scarlett into my computer running Logic Pro X (where I add a little EQ and Reverb).
